Satellite Fraud and Piracy are Illegal
This site provides information concerning criminal and civil actions brought by DIRECTV against those who
fraudulently obtain DIRECTV programming without authorization by and proper payment to DIRECTV or illegally
design, manufacture, market, sell, or use devices that allow access to satellite signals without payment to
DIRECTV. This site also dispels certain comforting "myths" that may exist in the fraud and pirate community
such as "you can pay me and I will take care of the DIRECTV account," or "you don't ever need to call DIRECTV
to handle your account, I can do that for you. I have a corporate account." Fraud and piracy creates unfair
and additional costs on legitimate paying customers. Please start by reading the FAQ
About Piracy page.
